Our people are charting new horizons for composites

Learn more about what moves us and meet the Endeavor Composites team.

We’re on a mission

We’re driven to create a circular economy that delivers incredibly strong, durable, value-added, zero-waste composite materials made from repurposed excess fibers that would otherwise be deposited in landfills.

Commitment to carbon fiber innovation

We believe there is always a way to make things work.

We’re always looking forward.

Evolving advanced manufacturing

We help our customers push the envelope, enabling them to do things they’ve never done before at a price they never anticipated.

Turning waste into profit

We aim to save billions of dollars of post-industrial virgin carbon from landfills, and create sustainable solutions for clients and investors.

Focused on customer success

We go the extra mile with our customers to create solutions that deliver results.

Obsessed with application

Our work is actionable, tangible, but built on heavy scientific theory. We want to create innovative solutions and bring them to life quickly.

Meet Hicham Ghossein, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer

Hicham Ghossein earned his Ph.D. in 2018 from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with two master’s degrees from UAB in the fields of Physics (2010) and Materials Science & Engineering (2014). Ghossein serves as the CEO of Endeavor Composites, Inc. and was an entrepreneurial fellow at the Department of Energy Advanced Manufacturing Office/ Innovation Crossroads Program (Cohort 3) at Oak Ridge National Lab. During this program, Ghossein worked on scaling up and commercializing a carbon fiber nonwoven technology that allowed the production of turnkey preform solutions for innovation in advanced composites manufacturing.

During his graduate studies, Ghossein conducted multiple customer discovery exercises through the NSF I-Corps program and was lead student on several Institute of Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI) projects. He was recipient of The Heart of Smoke and Fire challenge coin by Scott Forge Space Program in 2016, The Eisenhower School of Defense- Advanced Manufacturing challenge coin, and The Secretary of The Army – Civilian Aide challenge coin in 2018.

During his entrepreneurial program, Ghossein negotiated potential commercialization agreements for nonwoven fabrics with several carbon fiber OEMs and advanced composites production with transportation & communication OEMs.

Ghossein served as PI on an Air Force Phase I STTR award & a NSF Phase I award, and partnered on an ARPA-E STTR phase I & II. Ghossein also served as the awards chair for the composite division with the Society of Plastic Engineers from 2018 to 2022 and is a board member with the Composites Coalition Steering Committee in the East Tennessee area.

Today, Ghossein is serving a 2 year term as council member with IACMI, representing Small and Medium Enterprise.
